June 2010 - Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue provides key Fire and EMS Planning and Staffing
Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Co. personnel provided key planning, staffing and management of Fire and Rescue service for both Herndon Festival and Celebrate Fairfax. These festivals
attract extremely large crowds coming and going throughout the event, and pose special challenges for fire and rescue service to them and the surrounding area. As the lead planning agency for both events, Fair Oaks' personnel work with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, Fairfax County Police Department, and event organizers to ensure the safety of event visitors and participants.
