Working along side career personnel of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, our volunteers are certified as firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and line officers. Our members provide supplemental staffing on frontline county units as well as staff additional units during periods of training or high incident activity.

Engine 421 Bravo (E421B) is in service
Eighteen months in the making, the new engine (Engine 421-B) has arrived at the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company.

March 2013 - Fair Oaks Kicks-off Residential Fund Drive
Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue kicked off its latest residential fund drive in March, sending fundraising letters to households and businesses in our community. The residential letter is one of our primary sources of income, and provides for easy donation by return envelope. You can also donate online.
