Welcome to the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company

President Kevin Mullins and Chief Jack May Welcome You to the Homepage of the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company

Working along side career personnel of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department, our volunteers are certified as firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and line officers. Our members provide supplemental staffing on frontline county units as well as staffing additional units, particularly during periods of high incident activity.

Open House - Saturday, October 14, 2017, 10 AM until 4 PM

To celebrate Fire Prevention Week, the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will partner with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department to host an Open House on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Fire Station 21. This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is, "Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!" It reminds us why everyone needs to have a home escape plan.

Please visit our fire station that day to meet your firefighters, see the fire trucks, join in the activities, and learn about fire safety. Our firefighters and EMTs will have displays and activities featuring fire and life safety, including preventing fires and fire injuries, especially in the home. Firefighters will also offer tours of the station, and educate you and your children about our fire trucks, ambulances, and other special equipment.

We are located at 12300 Lee-Jackson Memorial Highway (Rt. 50), in Fairfax, VA, 2 miles west of Fair Oaks Mall.
